Netherlands, 6 October, 2021 – Everynet BV, the global LoRaWAN Network Operator, announces the signature of a strategic agreement with AOTEC, the National Association of Local Operators of Telecommunications in Spain that includes more than 150 members.
Everynet, recently announced its partnership with America Tower de AT España, a subsidiary of American Tower Corporation, the global provider of wireless communication infrastructure, and will provide LoRaWAN (Long Range Wide Area Network) across Spain. With a strong ecosystem of partners, pre-packaged plug and play modular solutions will accelerate the adoption of IoT across verticals such as smart building, smart cities, and supply chain logistics. With this strategic agreement, AOTEC offers Everynet’s network along with end-to-end solutions in the Spanish market.
Gonzalo Elguezábal, executive director of AOTEC, emphasized that this agreement will promote digitalization in rural areas through a wide range of added value services. We are in the data and sensors age and this technology could boost the development of small and medium cities. The network enables the interconnection of devices sending small data packets without the need for large complex deployments and dependencies of mobile operator networks.
Everynet provides low-cost neutral-host LoRaWAN national networks and coverage is available across Spain, Italy, United Kingdom, Ireland, Brazil, United States, Puerto Rico, Indonesia, and Iceland. With AOTEC, Everynet will provide existing and future clients access to network coverage in Spain. Thanks to the more than 11,300 towers of AT España, robust network coverage can be provided to support a variety of IoT implementations.
